At Artlin Consulting, we’re not only committed to our clients we’re deeply committed to our community. We are passionate about giving back to our community and are always looking for volunteer opportunities. If you know of a need or have an idea for a volunteering opportunity in the DMV area, please contact us or email info@artlinconsulting.com. Below are some of the community service activities that we, our families, partners and clients participate in every year and over the past months.

August 2019 (P)update – America’s VetDogs

In September 2018, Artlin consultants and their families partnered with Eastern Foundry to raise money for America’s VetDogs. Through bake sales and fundraisers, we raised over $6,000 to sponsor a future service dog, Artie, for a veteran in need. America’s VetDogs provides service and guide dogs to veterans, active-duty service members, and first responders with disabilities.

Artie was born and is currently being trained by his raiser, Jenn, in Indianapolis, Indiana. If you would like to see what Jenn and Artie are up to, please go to their Instagram!

Summer 2019 – Cornerstone Schools

In June 2019, Artlin consultants once again assisted the Cornerstone Schools in Washington, DC packing up classrooms for the summer with their teachers. A month later, we donated supplies for teachers in students.

Cornerstone not only provides a top-notch education, but a safe & caring environment for children growing up in challenging circumstances. Artlin has supported Cornerstone financially and with volunteers for several years because of their tremendous impact on families in the DC community.

June 2019 – Ronald McDonald House

Artlin consultants and their families made breakfast for families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of Northern Virginia in Falls Church, Virginia in June 2019. We also donated items in short supply to the facility through their wish list.

May 2019 – Izaak Walton League Picnic and Fishing Derby

Artlin consultants and their families participated in the Izaak Walton League Picnic and Fishing Derby by assisting with setting up the event, escorting and assisting guests, and helping clean up. Each year, the Arlington-Fairfax Chapter of the Izaak Walton League of America hosts a picnic and fishing day for children and adults with physical and life challenges.

May 2019 – Animal Welfare League of Alexandria

Artlin consultants and their families volunteered with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria in May 2019 by creating toys that dispense treats for dogs and cats and assisting the staff with setting up their yard sale. We are happy to announce the pup, Queenie, in this picture with us has since been adopted!

Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) ‘Stuff the Bus’ Event

Artlin Consultants participated in the Arlington Food Assistance Center (AFAC) ‘Stuff the Bus’ event in September by staffing a food drive at a local grocery store.  AFAC collects and distributes groceries to help feed neighbors. Thanks to volunteer participation and the generous donations of Arlingtonians, AFAC was able to ‘stuff the bus’ with more than 2,500 pounds of beans, tomatoes, tuna, cereal and other much-needed items for the 2,200 client families that visit them each week.
